Deborah Wiener is a Barrister and Mediator with over 30 years of experience in criminal and family law. She works now exclusively in Family Law with an emphasis on difficult children’s cases, particularly those involving allegations of family violence and sexual abuse.

She has many years of mediating experience and has worked with the CALD community in family violence education, particularly with the Indian communities where dowry abuse is a major issue. She was Chair of the Jewish Taskforce against family violence for 7 years, she is also involved with the Victorian multicultural commission on one of the advisory councils. Deborah has spoken at many conferences and on the radio regarding the issues of family violence within different communities.

Outside of the law she likes to learn foreign languages, travel and takes too many pictures of lions.
